Welcome to my new weblog: The Sportin’ Gun. I was writing way too many sports related postings on my other blog, The Smokin’ Gun, that I’ve decided to create a new blog. That way I can keep that blog more personal/tech related (I work for Citrix Systems) and have a dedicated blog for all my sports postings.
What to expect: lots of opinions about my favorite sports. These include cycling (check out my personal experiences at Bon Courage!), football (that’s soccer for all Americans) and American sports like American football, hockey and baseball. The emphasis will be on the American sports, for someone from The Netherlands I have an unusual liking for these sports. Also, since I’ve moved to the UK recently, I’m getting introduced to other sports like rugby, cricket and darts. If I’ve learned some more about those sports, I’ll probably start writing about these too.
